The Top 5 Spots In Vancouver For Epic Photos

Metro Vancouver Is An Adventurers Paradise!

At Toth Media, we are always exploring and trying to find the best local Vancouver spots to shoot content for our marketing clients. We have compiled this list of our go-to locations for outdoor adventure based social media feeds. Check out these spots if you’re an avid adventurer or passionate Instagrammer looking to seriously up your game.

1. Capilano Suspension Bridge

Are your photos in need of some moody Vancouver vibes? Well, look no further. Capilano Suspension Bridge is an incredible place to explore and create. The suspension bridge, cliff walk, and treetop adventures are all a blast and offer some great aesthetics and different perspectives to experiment with whether you're professional or amateur. We frequent this spot when it's raining as it's less busy and sometimes the fog will roll through the trees that make it feel like you're in Narnia. Get more info:

2. Golden Ears Provincial Park

Golden Ears is only a short drive from Vancouver (45 mins) and there is so much to see and do there. From Alouette Lake to Spirea Nature Trail, to Gold Creek Falls, you are sure to find some spots that will blow up that social media feed of yours and help build your photography portfolio. This park does a lot of the work for you by providing incredible scenery and untouched mountain views, all you have to do is get creative and have some fun!

3. St Mark's Summit

St Mark's has become a popular Vancouver spot because of its easy accessibility from the parking lot at Cypress Mountain. The views you get from this 1-2 hour hike are hard to beat as you are rewarded with a view of the entire Howe Sound Inlet. We have probably done this hike 10 times and each time we are able to capture photo and video content that rivals the best in our portfolio.

4. Sea To Sky Gondola

When this gondola was built back in 2015 we were beyond stoked. You mean we don't have to hike 3 hours for those views anymore? Amazing. There are a plethora of hikes and things to do at the top of The Sea To Sky including an insane suspension bridge with the Sky Pilot peak directly in the background. Want to take some photos? Sea to Sky Gondola. Got a hot date? Sea to Sky Gondola. Dying to hit that Instagram hot page? Sea To Sky Gondola.

5. Mt. Seymour

Last but certainly not least is the peak of Mount Seymour. With 360 degree views of the coastal mountain range and the city of Vancouver, this hike is my personal favorite. There are 3 peaks on Mount Seymour, varying in distance and elevation so you have the option of a 40-minute walk up to a 2-hour trek to the top peak. Camping up here in the summer is a must as the glow of the city is spectacular in contrast to the darkness on the mountains behind you.
